An uncleaned model consists of taking off only the support structure from the machine and shipping. This option is usually cheaper and quicker than cleaned. We recommend uncleaned models only for your own visual verification.

A cleaned model requires it to be in the hands of our experienced model makers. This step consists of sanding/smoothing of all surfaces. We recommend this option for models being painted or coated, for prototypes used in a design review, or fit/function operation.
